Biography
Cristobal’s sire, Holstein stallion Cristo, is held in high esteem and was himself sired by the legend Contender, who was one of the world’s top 100 showjumping sires for a decade. Cristobal’s dam sire, Baldini, is the father of the world famous Bella Donna, who enjoyed great international success under Meredith Michaels-Beerbaum. His grandmother, Duerte, produced Sandro, who enjoyed a highly successful showjumping career and sired more than 40 listed sons, including Sandro Boy, the 2006 World Cup final winner and Sandro Song, Safari and Paradiso who all competed in the 1994 World Equestrian Games.
Notable Progeny
Before moving to Gornall Equestrian at the end of 2016 he was purely focused on the sport. His first foals are due to be born in 2019.
