Biography

Fursten-Look - A black, elegant stallion who has proven himself on the world stage and is now producing numerous championship winning offspring. Available in the UK for the first time for fresh/chilled semen. Fursten-Look's career began when he became the champion of the Oldenburg licensing and winner of his 14 day performance test. He went on to become Bundeschampion the following year, and in 2018, won bronze at the World Breeding Championships for 7 yr olds with an impressive score of 84.05%. Fursten-Look has an ideal balance of arena presence, an impeccable temperament and 3 excellent paces to match, which was perfectly demonstrated in his 30 day performance test, where again, he was the champion of his discipline. He received a final dressage score of 9.41 with 5 perfect 10's for character, temperament, performance readiness, walk, and rideability. His canter and trot received 9.5's. Christoph Hess commented on his performance at the final Nuremberg Burg Cup, "Stylistically, a wonderful ride. A very beautiful horse, great trot work with wide crossing and good balance in the lateral movements. Big strides through the body in walk. Very good canter work. Perfectly straight flying changes. A fantastic round!". He won bronze with a score of 75.683% under Isabel Freese. Many of his offspring are following in their father's footsteps, winning championship classes and topping auctions throughout the world (see the extensive "Notable Progeny" list). Many of Fursten-Look’s sons are licensed and Fursten-Look has produced over 40 award-winning daughters, including the 1f-premium-winner Oldenburg “Brillantring” mare Curly OLD, who was Vice Regional Champion and fourth at the German Championships with Hermann Gerdes. His sire Fürstenball was Champion of the Oldenburg licensing, Champion of his stallion performance test, main premium winner, German and Oldenburg Regional Champion, finalist at the World Championships, victorious up to Prix St. Georges level, VTV dressage stallion, number one of the FN breeding valuation, Danish Elite Stallion and Stallion of the Year in Denmark. His dam St.Pr.St. Lady Diamond also produced the licensed stallion San Severo (by San Amour) and Sardera S (by Sandro Hit), who was placed up to Prix St. Georges level. She is the full sister of the German Champion La Perla, who produced the licensed stallions Feretti I and II (by Funtime) and half sister of the licensed stallion Du Moulin (by Davignon I).
