An exciting young stallion with some of the best European bloodlines – Luidam x Lux z x Concorde. Ashdale Legend is by the great Luidam who has won many Grand Prix and Nation’s Cups all over the world represented Ireland with Billy Twomey. Luidam was part of the winning team in Dublin, Aachen and St Gallen. Luidam, son of Guidam, whose grandsire is the legendary Quidam de Revel, successfully competed internationally by Eric van der Vleuten. Luidam was one of the most consistent performers on the European circuit. Ashdale Legend’s dam, Lux Good is by the famous Lux Z. He is one of the most successful stallions in international showjumping. With Jerry Smit, Lux Z participated in the 2000 Sydney Olympics and he won the Pulsar Crown competitions in Valkenswaard and Cannes. Lux Z’s total winnings are more than a million euro.
Ashdale Legend’s full sister, Ashdale Luxara, is competing internationally up to 1.60m level, and has many placings in international Grand Prix. His maternal brother, Ashdale Luxon, is competing internationally with Jamie Wingrove.
Ashdale Legend himself has all the qualities required for a modern day sports horse. He has a fantastic temperament, is super brave, scopey and shows a great technique over the fence. He is currently competing in 1.20m and 6yr old classes.
