Biography
Camiro is a proven sire of 5* eventers & 1.60m show jumpers, currently ranked #8 in the WBFSH top 100 eventing sire rankings. He is a popular choice for sports horse breeders. His Sire, Chellano Z, finished in the top 10 as both a 6 & 7 year old at the World Breeding Championships in Lanaken. He jumped international GP classes with Jos Lansink as an 8 year old & had placings in Neumünster, Valkenswaard & Rotterdam. Chellano had a limited breeding career but still produced 30 licensed sons & over 40 grand prix horses. His famous grandsire Contender, one of the most established producers has 127 licensed sons & more than 100 grand prix horses, with winnings of over €8.65 million. His offspring include Checkmate, Montender, Chiara 222, Cool And Easy, Con Air, & Carlo 273. Camiro’s dam, Namira de Haar is by Ramiro Z. He sired many outstanding sports horses including, Ratina Z, Royal Bravour, Robin Z, & Japeloupe. He has around 150 licensed sons, 63 1.60m showjumpers & 14 grand prix dressage horses. Namira’s sister Sarah by Celano, jumped at grand prix level, Namira produced the 1.50m jumping stallion Zig Zag, by Concorde. Camiro is a proven producer of top level eventers & showjumpers. He is a well made, strong stallion with plenty of bone & easy movement. He crosses well with a variety of mares, passing on a good jump, fabulous temperament, & quality movement. His foals are bright minded, intelligent & interactive.

Camiro's most famous eventing offspring are international 5* horses Vanir Kamira, winner of both Badminton & Burghley & Creevagh Silver De Haar. Vanir Kamira retired sound from eventing in 2023 after a top level career. He also sired the 4* eventers Creevagh Cooley, Legaland Mood Swing, Creevagh Limited Edition & Seapatrick Narco plus several others at 3*, 2* & 1* Camiro's showjumping offspring include 1.60m Creevagh Charisma, 1.50m TJ Mullanacross Maliro, Roxborough Euphoria, CDS Capog Tomy, 1.40m Tonagh Trip The Lights, Creevagh Gent, MMS Camilla, Creevagh Special, Fermoyle Prince & 1.30m Kilcorig Belle, Casimira, Creevagh Cooley & Doonaveeragh Dot IE.
