Biography

Born 2008, Danny stands at 16.1hh and is one of the best British stallions licensed this year. By Kannan, Danny has inherited a super temperament and amazing ability. For many years Kannan has been one of the top International jumping stallions. Kannan consistently produces trainable temperaments and exceptional jumping ability, including Adventure de Kannan, winner of the Hickstead Speed Derby in 2010. Danny’s bloodlines are excellent, noting his sire, but his mother, Kormeline, then brings in an unbeatable combination of genes as she is by the great Burgraff. She is a KWPN graded mare, with a fantastic temperament, whose full brother and sister have both jumped at Nation’s Cup level. Danny has truly been bred to jump!. At only 3 years old Danny was awarded licensed status at the Anglo European Studbook grading held at Addington Manor in April 2011. As an unbroken stallion he was rewarded for his exceptional jumping performance at the grading, impressing judges Mr. Charles Edwards, Mr. Geoff Glazzard, Mr.Mark Shaw and Mr.Jac Remijnse. On 2nd August 2011, Jonathan presented Danny at Baileys Horse Feeds/British Equestrian Federation (BEF) futurity evaluation at Southview Equestrian Center in Cheshire. Danny was one of only 2 colts to take the Elite premium, achieving the highest score of the day – 9.14. All three evaluators – Carrie Adams, Sheri Tozer-Rob and Mark Shaw – were hugely impressed by his technique over a fence and his thorough enjoyment of his jumping. .
