Biography
Woodlander Rockster brings together the exceptional blood of Rubinstein and Sandro. His sire, the Hannoverian State Stallion Rotspan, produced two winning stallions in his second crop of stallion candidates-Rascalino and Royal Blend. The dam of Woodlander Rockstar, St Pr St Savannah, is the reigning BD Broodmare Champion and is selected into the Hannoverian Jumping Programme. From her six foals she has bred the two successful young dressage horses Woodlander Frank Sinatra and Woodlander Wizard, Woodlander Rockstar, Woodlander Wesuvio and the Supreme Foal Champion for the BWBS Woodlander Foxy Lady. Woodlander Rockstar was the 2003 BWBS Reserve Supreme Champion. He made his affiliated debut in 2007 with Maria Eilberg and qualified at Medium in his first two outing “with a 9 for his extended trot and clearly great rideability”.
Notable Progeny
The Rockstar licensed son, Woodlander Rhythm n Blues, has also shown this competence, beating all the jumping bred stallion candidates at his grading and gaining 8s and 9s. Other Rockstar progeny show with numerous in hand and ridden champions. What can be better?
