Biography

Jasper B came to Westhills Equestrian as a two-year-old colt. He was extremely easy to break in and ride, after a short spell on his basic ground work he was then placed with international show jump rider, David Quigley. He successfully competed in BSJA competitions and has a huge talent for jumping as many of our pictures will show. Jasper’s real talent however is inclined towards the dressage arena, with his extravagant movement and trainable temperament, we decided to bring him home to Westhills and so began his dressage career. Jasper’s temperament is superb, which makes training him a pleasure and complete joy. His exceptional movement propelled him up to the level of Grand Prix by the age of nine years. Jasper has always found the advanced work extremely easy which enabled him to train at this high level at a very young age. He has always been a very willing forward horse to work with as he has an abundance of natural talent coupled with a natural desire to work. His extravagant movement is in abundance, with big free moving shoulder and powerful hind legs, he is a strong horse with 9.5 inch of bone and good feet. Jasper has been at top competition level from an early age and has been placed at high profile shows, premier leagues and qualified for regional finals and area festivals. Mares have been covered using fresh and frozen semen and his off spring under saddle have shown to have inherited his
