Powerful, beautiful and with striking quality – these attributes describe the highly interesting youngster best as ideal prospect for top-class sport and breeding! Brillant du Reventon performs cleverly and elastically at the jump. Much smoothness, a supple manner of jumping through the back as well as always open-up hindquarters give prove of the extraordinary quality of this youngster. Furthermore, his mental power, vision and a truly brilliant attitude make this stallion ideal as top athlete. Brillant du Reventon passed successfully his 50-day test, guaranteeing lifelong record in stallion book I (Hengstbuch I), where the jury certifies him his excellent attentiveness as well as the powerful push-off and his fast reflexes when jumping. Additionally, his lovely character and impeccable temper were praised with the daily top score of 9.0. Brillant du Reventon’s pedigree is completely on trend nowadays, sport-oriented and stringent on the sire’s side. The dam line originates form the top genes of the Holstein line 1298, which is also known as “Lord line” among breeders, because it’s the origin of the exceptional stallion Lord. The sire Balou de Reventon is currently one of the most powerful stallions in der world. Under Darragh Kenny (IRE), Brian Moggre (USA) and Harry Charles (GBR) he collected numerous ribbons in grand prix, world cup finals and WEG, won the Nations Cup at the CHIO Aachen and took the silver medal in the Rolex Grand Prix at Aachen. After starting his sports career as Bundesschampion under the name Cornet’s Balou, he was proclaimed “Stallion of the Year 2021” in the USA. Also, in breeding Balou du Reventon leaves nothing to be desired with offspring that is already internationally successful up to 1.60m-classes. His dam’s sire, Holsteiner Acorado I, celebrated himself achievements in sport up to advanced (S) three-star level under Torben Köhlbrandt. Unfortunately, he died quite early, but Acorado I immortalized through 25 licensed sons and an impressive number of sport successful offspring at the highest level for the German show jumper-breeding. Caretino, a top Holsteiner trademark stallion can be found in third generation. Internationally highly successful under Ludger Beerbaum, Caretino characterized decisively the Holstein breeding with more than 60 licensed sons, including international guarantors for success such as the Olympic stallion Casall /Rolf-Göran Bengtsson. In fourth generation, no less than Jos Lansink’s double Olympic stallion and certainly most successful show jumper in the world, Carthago, rounds off the exquisite pedigree of Brillant du Reventon. In Belgium granddam Negrill presented the licensed and 1.50m-successful stallion Peppermint Blue/Thibault Vermeulen, the internationally 1.40m-sussessful show jumpers Eliza B/Yahia Said (MAR) and Reppers Di Light/Michael Kölz (GER) as well as the licensed stallion Cordello. Granddam Irma La Douche gave birth to the international 1.60m-successful Non Stop SV/Takashi Haase Shibayama (JPN). Origin of this success is the Holstein dam line 1298, which is also known for numerous successful sires and top sport horses such as Cynar VA/ Jessica Springsteen (USA), Caletto Cabana/Wilton Porter (USA), Cochello/Piergiorgio Bucci (ITA), Cochella/Angelie von Essen (SWE), Chupa Chup/Bernardo Alves (BRA) or California/Angelica Augustsson Zanotelli (SWE).
