Biography
With Coolway we present you the perfect model of a Holsteiner, bred in-house. Last year, sire Cornet ́s Quaprice was able to prove himself as a sire of very special quality with licensed and award-winning sons. His offspring are not only correct, shapely and expressive, they also convince with tremendous jumping ability and the best riding characteristics. Dam's sire Colman, as well as MMV Carinjo, who was himself successful at 5* level and took 2nd place in Aachen under Thomas Voss, among others, are considered the founding fathers of our station. "This stallion unites the whole tradition of our station. All the qualities we have believed in for decades, all this coupled to one of the best Holstein mares of all time, the Vodka by Lord. This stallion is something very special to me," says Sven Völz, breeder and managing director of the Völz Stallion Station. Granddam Victoria XV produced Casarinjo, who was successful in the 1.50 m show jumping. The great-granddam One Way was also successful at 1.50 m level under Christopher Frazer. She is the full sister of Chika's Way, famous under Janne Friederike Meyer-Zimmermann, who in turn is the granddam of Uricas vd Kattenvennen, who is on everyone's lips today, as well as the stallions Conway I and II. The Holstein stallion Clearway, the Derby winner Carassina, as well as the internationally successful sport horses Classic Way and Ut Vodka are also siblings of the great-grandmother. The Holsteiner line 1916 has an outstanding hereditary strength in both mares and stallions. This has a significant influence on Coolway's pedigree. Coolway itself impresses with pronounced correctness of physique. Large-framed, with a harmoniously arched neck and excellent topline. The croup is clearly pronounced and of the desired slope. The limbs are well proportioned, the hooves stable and symmetrical. On the occasion of his licensing in Verden, he presented himself with swinging, elastic basic gaits and excellent jumping. Very capable, yet light-footed, quick to react and equipped with a strong hindquarters, he convinced the basket commission.
