Biography

Crelido's description of the award in Holstein: "Extraordinarily sympathetically well-built son of Calido I, who also has a very modern expression. Its expressive head, good neck shape and the finished back match the excellent upper line. The correct foundation confirms this type and exterior assessment. The stallion's movement is characterized by the spacious gallop and a trot with very good swing and carrying." Crelido's jumping technique and ability were also established, as he won the Danish Equestrian Federation's jumping championship for 4-year-old horses, where he received a 10 for riding. At 6-7 years old, he achieved placements in MB/MA and was placed in his first S-start. With Olympic rider Stein Endresen, Crelido has gone from success to success. In 2009, the pair had wins and placings in Geneva, Barcelona and Spruce Meadows in Canada. In 2010, the success continued, being flawless at CSIO Linz in 155 cm, CSIO Gijon 5-star in 150 cm, CSI Oslo World Cup Grand Prix and finished with 4 errors in the World Cup class at CSI Lyon. In 2011 they were flawless at CSI Arezzo as well as flawless and finished 3rd at home at CSI Odense. 2012 was the year when Crelido was named "Stallion of the Year" in DV and won a class at CSIO in Bernstorffsparken. Again in 2013, Crelido was ranked in CSIO 5-star in Oslo and Helsinki. The center of gravity of Crelido's descent is a pairing of 7 x Cottage Son, 4 x Cor de la Bryère and 3 x Ramzes blood. The stallion itself has about 40% thoroughbred proportion, which helps explain Crelido's breeding success. Over the years, Crelido has fathered both bronze, silver and gold medal mares, but also under saddle, his offspring has managed to make a positive impression. Here we can mention Charmeur, who with Astrid Gemal has repeatedly won the Danish Equestrian Federation's championships and represented Denmark in both the World and at Falsterbo Horse Show. Charmeur is trained for Grand Prix. Corinna ( Stud Hove) became Australian champion in 2019 and is in the gross squad for the Tokyo 2020 Olympics. Crelido offspring have also successfully started UVM in show jumping at Zangersheide, but also on the international show jumping courses there are Crelido offspring, including Damgårdens Extens. Crelido is sired by several breeding approved stallions, including Svalegård's Gold Crelido. Crelido has offspring that have llaced themselves both in Falstero and Zangersheide. Although Crelido is an older gentleman, he is still in super shape and has very good sperm quality! Crelido has everything you could wish for!
