Biography
Fiji convinces with his outstanding type, a lot of charm and nobility. He impresses with excellent basic gaits with plenty of shoulder freedom and an uphill sequence with a lot of strength from the back and hind legs. Coupled with highly valuable genetics and the desired shot of jumping blood in the background, predestine him as a future main sire. He is developing outstandingly under saddle and completed his sport test in May 2024 with an overall score of 8.21 as Reserve Champion, and he is also convincing all along the line with his first crop of foals. The sire For Romance I was Champion Stallion, Main Premium Winner and is successful up to Grand Prix under Therese Nilshagen. His heredity has long been beyond reproach with over 55 licensed sons, champion mares, countless championship horses and offspring who have recently arrived in the advanced class. The dam Gesina is also one of the most successful mares in German breeding, dam to several champion stallions, licensed stallions and champion mares. Fiji's dam Happy-Times ZB is a half-sister to the internationally successful Grand Prix horse Crocket Times by Sorento. Her sire Charmeur, a son of the German Champion Florencio I, is visually very much influenced by his dam's sire Jazz, was the winner of his stallion performance test in the Netherlands and won the Pavo Cup, the Dutch equivalent of the German German Championships, as a 3-year-old. Under Madeleine Witte-Vrees, Charmeur was highly successful up to Grand Prix racing. He is also on the road to success in breeding with offspring in top-class sport such as Genoa TC or stallion sons in breeding such as High Five US. In the third generation, the Nimmerdor son Goodtimes is a versatile sire with top genetics and with offspring such as Lucky Times (two-time Pavo Cup winner), who can look back on numerous international Grand Prix successes. Fiji's granddam Mitta was also successful in dressage up to M** before she went into breeding and holds the title of elite mare in the Netherlands. The highly proven sire Sir Sinclair, who is one of the best dressage horse sires in the Netherlands, Don Sarkozy, licensed in Oldenburg, and a considerable number of dressage horses who are successful up to the most difficult class in the direct line also descend from the proven Westphalian mare line of Nelly. Among other things, it is also the mare line of the mare Die Fürstin OLD, who was successful under Friederike Tebbel.
