Biography
GLOCK’s Toto Jr. is the first licensed son of the legendary Totilas. At the age of three he won his stallionperformance test in Ermelo with 86 points. GLOCK’s Toto Jr. competes at international Grand Prix level under his rider, Edward Gal. He was the big winner of the Dutch Dressage Championships 2020, where he scored an exceptional 86.15% in the freestyle. Since their debut at Grand Prix level, GLOCK’s Toto Jr. and Edward Gal have always scored around 80% and above. No wonder he was chosen FEI Horse of the Month in December 2020. He shows excellent ground cover in the walk, his trot and canter impress with power, lightness, elasticity, balance and uphill tendency. This magnificent black stallion also exhibits outstanding qualities of conformation and nature. These characteristics are passed on to his offspring, evident in his very impressive foal report. His offspring are very popular and have achieved high prices at various auctions over recent years. A total of 24 sons of GLOCK’s Toto Jr. were entered for the first round viewing at the KWPN Stallion Show in 2021 and eight of them were immediately selected for the second round viewing. In addition to GLOCK’s Taminiau, GLOCK’s King Karim, Blue Hors Kingston and Mister Maserati, in 2021 the number of approved sons rose to no fewer than 34. His daughters are also doing well: GLOCK’s Toto Jr. was very well represented by three of them being in the top six at the NMK 2021 in Ermelo. His dam, Desperada, is descended from Desperados, who twice achieved individual silver medals at the 2015 European Championships in Aachen. Both his dam and granddam finished their mare performance tests in Germany with excellent scores: test riders gave them the maximum 10.0 for rideability.
