Biography
RH represents the modern pure bred Lusitano of today’s competition dressage circuit. He is currently competing at Prix St George and holding his own. What can RH bring to your young stock? Fast being realised as the most important ingredient to having a successful competition horse, CALM TRAINABLE, NONE SPOOKY ATTITUDE!!! With competition horses in mind, R H would be a great match for a mare needing courage and confidence adding to her offspring. Being bred by one of the oldest and most established studs of Portugal, Oliveira e Sousa, his bloodlines have been studied and enhanced to produce this well know stallion who as a youngster, dominated the dressage and showing competitions in Portugal before coming to the UK to continue his education. He has been much loved and enjoyed by world class trainers both here in the UK and Portugal and references are available from both English and Portuguese professional riders. This is RH’s first year standing at stud, as not to interrupt his competition focus, semen is only available frozen.
