Biography

Sir Donnerhall I is consistently producing successful offspring, in competition and in breeding. His sire Sandro Hit, World Champion and German Champion, very quickly made a name for himself as a foundation stallion in dressage horse breeding. His dam St.Pr.St. Contenance D, also produced his full brother, Sir Donnerhall II/Morgan Barbançon/ESP, licensed stallion, double World Cup finalist and World Championship, European Championship and Olympic participant, Rubberball (by Rubinstein), AES licensed stallion and Stratege/Cora Jacobs, also successful in Grand Prix. His dam’s sire is the sire of the century Donnerhall. Sir Donnerhall was Reserve World Champion of Young Dressage Horses at Verden in 2006, and Bundeschampion 2006. He is one of the most important up and coming stallions. His charm and beautiful movement impressed at the 2003 Oldenburg Approvals, and he was distinguished with a 1c premium. Sir Donnerhall was presented under saddle at the stallion show in Vechta, showing excellent ‘rideability’, grace and suppleness. He fulfilled all expectations at his 30 day test where he won in all three gaits with top scores between 9.0 and 10.0. He was awarded 9.5 for ‘rideability’.
