Biography

Total McLaren was the true discovery of the 2020 KWPN stallion inspection in Den Bosch, where this extremely beautiful and fantastically long-legged black man managed to attract all eyes with his elegant appearance and his three, above all, high-quality basic gaits. Here he was still owned by his breeder Ralph Knauf and Ad Valk, but everyone wanted to buy him. Andreas Helgstrand also wanted to buy it without any obligation and Total McLaren moved to Denmark. Here he was also approved for the Dansk Verband and completed his Performance Test with the expected highlights in the basic gaits and Rittigkeit and a total score of 807.0 points. His father Totilas is the legend who rose to unprecedented heights under Edward Gal. Totilas, World Champion and World Record Holder, is the dressage horse that has given the dressage world a new dimension. Totilas and Edward went from record to record in no time. He broke the world record three times, first in 2009 at the European Championships with 90.75% in the Freestyle, then in Windsor with 92.3% and finally at the CHIO Aachen 2010 in the Grand Prix Special with 86.45%. World Champion in Kentucky, European Champion in Windsor, World Cup winner in 2010 and twice Dutch Champion. With the Dutch team he also won the European Championship and World Championship. His mother Deja Vu, herself very successful in the sport, also produced the approved stallion Supreme (by Sezuan). The grandmother, the Elite mare Silberaster OLD, was the champion mare in Oldenburg and two-time Federal and Landes champion. Ridden by Helen Langehanenberg, she won Bronze at the World Championships for young five-year-olds in 2008. Total McLaren's dam line also produced many approved stallions, such as High Society, Welthall, Wait and See, Wittenberg, Gallipoli, Avanti, Furinos Son, Wontorra, Sandro's Son and Walzer, as well as many successful international sport horses, such as the Grand Prix horse Wells Fargo.
