Biography
UCS Urbanus’s showing career has been incredible since he was a yearling, showing that not only is he a winner against coloureds but in the ring with solids also, having numerous wins in sport horse classes. In April 2006 he passed his CHAPS grading, and graded as a showjumper. In November 2006 he graded with the AES and gained registered status. He was successfully competed BSJA before being sold to Belgium, he has great scope and carefulness with a super attitude for his job. He also has a wonderful temperament. Urbanus is from a great line of athletes including Polydor, Major De La Cour and Grand Veneur to name a few. Poor Boy, his sire, was successfully ridden by Beat Mandli and stands amongst the top World-ranking jumping sires. His achievements include winning the Berlin World Cup and placing second in the London World Cup. Poor Boy’s sire, Polydor is very noticable in many world class horses’ pedigrees and remained No. 1 Leading sire for many years for producing top showjumpers. Urbanus’s dam, Ping Pong has been successfully competed in dressage gaining high percentages. She is also a great winner in breeding classes. Her sire, Major De La Cour is an internationally approved stallion, also standing in the world ranking jumping sires, he himself has produced some top jumping horses. Her dam is Imago, Elite Preferent rated KWPN, was the highest scoring champion at her KWPN Mare inspection. Imago’s sire, Samber is the most influential and successfull pinto Warmblood
