Count Codex is a strong powerful horse that has been successfully placed in international young horse classes.
He has correct conformation, scope and a large canter that he passes onto his offspring.

Count Codex’s sire, Contendro I, is the World Class stallion ranked 16th in the 2016 WBFSH (World Breeding Federation for Sport Horses) for Show Jumping Sires and 1st in the eventing section. In 2012 he was the youngest sire among the top 13 of the world’s best show jumping sires and was ranked 10th among eventing sires. His career highlights include 1999 Holstein premium stallion, winner of the 2000 stallion performance test, placed in the 2001 Holstein Riding Horse Championships and nominated for the Bundeschampionat. By the time he was 14 years old, he was a prize-winning millionaire.

Contentro I’s offspring have also made headlines, Codex One took the international jumper scene by storm in 2010 placing second at the CSI4* Indoor Grossen Preis von Frankfurt a.M. He also placed 2nd in the Grossen Preis von Nörten-Hardenberg CSI3* and then won the Masters League Final at the 2011 CSI4* Grossen Preis von Frankfurt a.M. In 2012 he was 3rd in the St.Gallen CSI05*, and then went double clear at the CHIO Aachen Nations
Cup, which lead him to represent Germany in the 2012 Olympic Games. His success continued in 2013 when he won a European Team Silver medal.

Twelve Contendro offspring alone qualified for Warendorf. Concalido won the Final of the Hanoverian Championships in the class for four-year old show jumpers and Contina won the 4 year old Free Jumping Competition in Vechta .

Contendro I is by one of the world’s leading show jumping sires, Contender, with his offspring having won more than 1.6 million Euros in prize money. Nearly 40 of his offspring successfully compete in advanced (S) level show jumping. At least 86 of his sons were licensed and more than 98 daughters have been awarded a State Premium.

Contentro I’s dam Bravo is also the dam of the licensed stallion Caretano Z (by Caretino) who had a brief but highly successful career as the 1997 Vice Bundeschampion, 1999 World champion of 7-year old show jumpers and placing in the World Cup Final of Gothenberg/SWE.
